STATEMENT OF FAITH
Kingdom Connections
A Governing Creed for Faith, Life, Community, and Governance
PREAMBLE
This Statement of Faith is not merely a summary of beliefs. It is a Governing Creed — a binding declaration of the sincerely held, core religious convictions that govern the life, conduct, doctrine, leadership, membership, content, and organizational governance of Kingdom Connections and all related initiatives.
These convictions are not aspirational suggestions. They represent the doctrinal foundation upon which this organization was established and upon which it will continue to operate. No officer, employee, board member, leader, moderator, volunteer, content contributor, or platform participant may act, teach, or govern in a manner that contradicts this Statement of Faith.
Where cultural values, social philosophies, political ideologies, legal theories, or personal opinions conflict with Scripture, this organization affirms the supreme and final authority of God’s Word. God’s truth is unchanging and remains authoritative for every generation.
This Statement of Faith is organized into four tiers:
TIER 1 — Essential Christian Doctrine
TIER 2 — Biblical Ethics and Human Flourishing
TIER 3 — Community Conduct and Culture
TIER 4 — Organizational Governance and Religious Liberty
TIER 1 — ESSENTIAL CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE
Affirmation of these doctrines is required for all leadership, teaching, moderation, mentoring, and official representation of this organization.
1. The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and supremely authoritative Word of God.
We believe God divinely inspired human beings to write all the words of Scripture, so that the Bible, in its original writings, is without error and serves as the final authority for faith, doctrine, morality, conduct, and practice.
We believe the Bible provides all principles necessary for our faith and practice, revealing how to live lives that honor God.
We interpret Scripture according to its plain, historical, and grammatical meaning, understanding that the Bible is its own best interpreter.
We reject any interpretation of Scripture that denies or undermines its historical, grammatical, theological, or moral teachings.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
“Every word of God is flawless.” (Proverbs 30:5)
“Prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21)
2. The One True God
We believe there is only one living and true God — the all-powerful Creator, Supreme Ruler, and Sustainer of the Universe. He alone possesses the natural attributes unique to His divine nature: He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. He also possesses moral attributes revealing His character: He is always wise, loving, and faithful.
We believe the eternally existing God is revealed in three persons as the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit — each equally and fully deity, co-equal in power, glory, majesty, and essence, yet distinct in personhood.
We believe no God exists apart from the eternal God of the Bible.
“You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything.” (Nehemiah 9:6)
“I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.” (Isaiah 46:9)
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man — God the Son and Savior of the World. He became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth, uniting perfect deity and perfect humanity in one person.
We believe He lived a sinless life, voluntarily paid the penalty for the sins of all people through His sacrificial death on the cross as our substitute, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and presently intercedes for believers as High Priest and Mediator.
We believe Jesus Christ is the only Savior of humanity and the only mediator between God and mankind. Salvation is found in no one else.
We believe He will personally, visibly, and gloriously return to establish His Kingdom and judge the living and the dead.
“No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God, has made him known.” (John 1:18)
“He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 John 2:2)
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son, whose present ministry in the world is to reveal and glorify Christ and to convict and draw sinners to repentance and faith.
We believe His present ministry within Christians is to regenerate, baptize, and seal them into the body of Christ, impart spiritual gifts to each of them, and empower them to live godly lives.
We believe the Holy Spirit permanently indwells every true believer from the moment of salvation.
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)
5. Creation
We believe God created all things by His almighty power. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, visible and invisible.
We believe the Genesis account of creation is to be understood historically and literally, not allegorically or figuratively. We affirm the historical reality of Adam and Eve as the first man and woman, created directly by God, the fall of humanity into sin, and God’s intentional and sovereign design over all creation.
We believe all three members of the triune God participated in Creation.
We reject naturalistic explanations that deny God as Creator and Sustainer of all things.
“In him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible — all things have been created through him and for him.” (Colossians 1:16)
6. Humanity
We believe all people everywhere are created in the image of God and therefore possess inherent dignity, worth, and value.
We believe God created humanity as male and female — equal in dignity and worth before God, yet distinct in biological design and complementary in purpose. This distinction is part of God’s good and intentional creation.
We believe Adam, the first man, sinned and as a result all people inherited a natural inclination toward sin and are spiritually dead apart from God’s grace.
“God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
“Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.” (Romans 5:12)
7. Salvation
We believe God saves people from the penalty of sin when they entrust their lives to Jesus Christ alone — receiving Him as their personal Lord and Savior. This salvation is entirely by God’s grace through faith, not by human effort or merit.
We believe God saves people from the power of sin by giving them a new heart, a new spirit, and a new way of living through the Holy Spirit.
We believe God saves people from the presence of sin, and that in heaven Christians will be kept eternally secure in Christ.
We believe God offers salvation and the gift of eternal life to all people through Jesus Christ, and that He desires that none should perish.
“It is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9)
8. The Exclusivity of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation and the only mediator between God and humanity. Salvation is not found in any other name, religion, philosophy, or system.
We believe all people stand in need of the saving work of Jesus Christ regardless of cultural background, religious tradition, or personal sincerity.
We respectfully but clearly reject the teaching that all sincere religious paths lead to God.
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
9. The Church
We believe the Church — the body of Christ — is composed of all those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe local churches exist for worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, service, and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
We believe all Christians should assemble regularly in local churches for worship, for observing the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, for mutual encouragement and discipline, and for carrying out God’s purpose in the world.
We affirm believer’s baptism as a symbol of identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and the Lord’s Supper as an ordinance of remembrance.
We encourage all Kingdom Connections members to participate actively in the life of a biblically faithful local church.
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” (Hebrews 10:24–25)
10. The Future
We believe in the imminent, personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to inaugurate His Kingdom, in which He will reign in power and glory.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost, resulting in the everlasting, conscious, blessed state of the saved and the everlasting, conscious punishment of the unsaved.
We believe in the rapture of believers, the final judgment, and the establishment of a new heaven and new earth in which righteousness dwells forever.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth … God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:1–4)
TIER 2 — BIBLICAL ETHICS AND HUMAN FLOURISHING
These convictions define the ethical framework within which Kingdom Connections operates and to which all leaders, moderators, teachers, and official representatives are held accountable.
11. Human Identity, Biological Sex, Gender, and Marriage
We believe God created human beings in His image as male and female — equal in dignity, worth, and value, yet distinct in their biological design and complementary in purpose.
We believe biological sex is a gift of God, determined at conception, revealed through the created order, and not subject to self-identification or alteration. Male and female are the two sexes established by God and affirmed throughout Scripture.
We believe marriage is the exclusive covenantal union of one biological man and one biological woman, instituted by God as a lifelong relationship reflecting Christ’s relationship with His Church.
We believe all sexual activity is reserved exclusively for marriage between one man and one woman. Any sexual conduct outside of God’s design — including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, incest, pornography, and all other forms of sexual immorality — is contrary to God’s revealed will.
We believe every person should be treated with dignity, compassion, respect, and love because all people bear the image of God. At the same time, love does not require the affirmation of beliefs, behaviors, identities, or practices that are contrary to Scripture.
We believe redemption through Jesus Christ is available to all people regardless of their past sins, struggles, temptations, or life experiences. The Church is a community of redeemed sinners who extend grace while upholding truth.
“God created mankind in his own image … male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” (Matthew 19:5)
12. Sanctity of Human Life
We believe all human life is sacred because every person is created in the image of God.
We believe human life begins at conception and continues until natural death.
We affirm the value, dignity, and protection of every human life — including the unborn, the disabled, the elderly, the vulnerable, and all people regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, social status, or ability.
We oppose the intentional taking of innocent human life and encourage compassionate, biblical responses that uphold both truth and grace.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
13. Biblical Authority in Practice
We believe the Bible is the final and supreme authority not only for personal faith and salvation, but also for doctrine, morality, conduct, ethics, and organizational practice.
We believe God’s truth is unchanging and remains relevant and authoritative for every generation. This organization does not affirm doctrinal positions that ‘evolve’ with cultural pressure.
We believe this authority extends to the application of biblical truth to current social, cultural, and moral issues. This organization reserves the right to speak on cultural topics from a biblical perspective without being considered to have exceeded its religious scope.
We reject any teaching that denies or redefines the plain meaning of Scripture to accommodate cultural trends, political ideologies, or contemporary social philosophies.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)
TIER 3 — COMMUNITY CONDUCT AND CULTURE
These standards define the expected conduct of all participants within the Kingdom Connections platform and community.
14. The Christian Walk
We believe Christians sin and are called to confess their sins to God — not for salvation, since they are already saved, but to maintain a clear conscience before God and to resist giving Satan a foothold in their lives.
We believe God calls all Christians to live holy lives through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
We believe Christians are called to love one another as Christ loves them, so that everyone will know they are His disciples.
We believe spiritual growth involves worship, prayer, study of Scripture, fellowship, discipleship, stewardship, and active participation in Christ’s mission.
We believe believers are called to demonstrate both grace and truth in all relationships and engagements — including within this platform.
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)
15. Community Standards and Platform Conduct
Kingdom Connections is a faith-based community. All content, conversation, teaching, mentoring, and engagement within the platform is expected to be consistent with the doctrinal convictions set forth in this Statement of Faith.
